2012 – The Shift – The Change

There are already many stories about 2012. The famost one is the Mayan prophecy that falls together with the end of a particular Mayan calendar.

But we don’t have to be in Latin America to see the urge for change. Human kind is facing quite drastic nature catastrophies, nuclear pollution, ice melting and social wars. The finance system is collapsing. European states run out of money one after the other. All in all we can witness the old system breaking down.

How to go on?

Governments and even religions have now answers any longer. They tried there best. When we don’t belief in a Mayan prophecy that the world will end we might still feel the need for change to secure the ongoing of human life on this planet.

This documentary reaches out to the borders of our understanding and invites us for a pilgrimage into noman’s land. Crisis is a place where there has a decision to be made. In a crisis there is a potential for something new and better. There’s a chance for miracles. There is the possibility to start all over again. There is the hope for a higher and more complex structure evolving that suites the needs of whole humanity instead of a few individuals.

We have to dare to leave the old behind and step into the darkness of the “yet to come”. Funny enough there are already alternatives. But we don’t know about them. Follow me on my journey into a possible future and explore spirituality and community for the years after 2012.
